My brother and I had an uncle who made a big impression on us when we were small. He would buy us treats and take us special places. He was also a Shriner. So, we went to the Circus several times growing up. It was always a lot of fun when he was around.

Turns out Uncle Clyde owned a State Farm agency. He spent his life building the business,  servicing his clients, and maintaining a solid reputation in the community.

I don’t know that I’ll ever want to own an agency but I don’t see anything wrong with building a business based on outstanding personal service and a rock-solid reputation.
